Is there an easy way to send a direct message to all connected users on a
    SBS2003?

    net send * Hello folks

MS antispyware sugests you disable the mesenger service though. I
personally think it is okay for an SBS client to have it set to auto and
    started.

    Thanks Grey,

Is there a security issue if messenger is enabled on the clients? Because by
default it is disabled on XP.

    Hi Gerko

They only security issue that I know of with the messenger service is that
it used to send msg's from the internet, hence I think it's been disbaled by
    default with XP SP2.

It should be ok to run it behind SBS 2003 as grey has pointed out.
