Separate Windows for Separate Conversations

I've looked all over in the settings but I cannot find how I can get
separate chat boxes for separate conversations in messenger. There
must be some way to do this. If not, whomever made that decision
needs to be taken out and publicly flogged. I have 2 wide screen
monitors with plenty of desktop space and I don't need to toggle
between two conversations. Any help on how to change this?

  2. Greetings John,

What you're describing is actually how Messenger works. If you're seeing something
different, it could be because you have third party software installed. For instance,
Messenger Plus Live will provide you with a tabs-UI if that's what you're seeing. If you are
using Plus, this can be turned off by opening up the main Messenger window, pressing the Alt
key on the keyboard to bring up the menu bar, choosing the Plus! menu, then Preferences &
Options, choosing Conversations at the top, then Tabbed chats on the side, and uncheck the
    box to 'Enable Tabbed Chatting'.

If that's not it, a screenshot would be helpful to determine what exactly you're seeing.

Thank you Jonathan! You are 100% correct. I do have Plus installed
and that fixed it. Thanks again!
