Server and shares not visible in network places on all computers

    Windows 2003

    The domain is visible in Windows Explorer as WIN2003 on the server or on
    workstations connected to the LAN. However, the domain controller computer
    and its shares are not visible in network places using windows explorer on
    the server or on any of the workstations. Shares on the server can be
    mapped. Login scripts to map drives on workstations work.

    I have looked at firewall issues, virus checker issues, active directory,
    dns and event logs and have found nothing. I have googled ...

    Can anyone think what setting would hide the server and its shares totally
    from in network places using windows explorer on the server and
    workstations.
