Still having problems connecting one client Computer using
    http://wmi/connectcomputer.

    Following message received:

"Files that are critical to client setup cannot be copied to this client
computer. A network administrator must reinstall the Client Deployment
component on the server by using MS sbsb server setup, which is is available
in Add or Remove Programs then run Client setup again"

Client Computer has XP?pro sp2 installed. Any help What could be the
problem if I was able to connect on other new computers?

  4. Hello,

Do you have URLScan installed on the server? Search for urlscan.ini on the
server. If it is there, open it up and place a semicolon in front of the
line for ".exe". Save the file and restart IISAdmin and try to connect
    again.

    Thanks for posting!!

urlscan.ini is not found with search.

This one is a P2 with xp/pro with sp2 installed just now. I'm stumped

What site?: https:\\wmi\connectcomputer. And I assume you mean on the
client computer I want to connect. I did it and still the same error
message. The trusted zone was in Internet Options and wanted https not http.
I was hoping for a quick remedy.. Should I "sh...t can it" and get a new
computer. My hands are hands are up!
