Server setup help required.

    I'm getting rather confused with the Server licensing and user vs. device
    Here is the situation. I am trying to set up a computer network of ~10
    machines. These machines will be used in a public location with several
    people (~50) having access to the machines. The users are to be limited to
    only use the computer to search the Internet and write up resumes. The
    resumes and cover letters will need to be kept in an individuals own storage
    folder on the server. I would like to set it up so that only the user sees
    only their storage folder on the server. What would be the most effective
    way of doing this?
    Would I set up Windows Server 2003 using a seperate user cal for each user
    (this would get rather expensive) or would it be possible to set it up using
    a device cal for each computer and then setting up the user profiles on the

    I'd set up a domain, and use device CALs.
    For all licensing questions, best to ask them of MS licensing directly,
    note - it's an arcane science.
