    I have SBS 2000 - Windows Server 2000 Sp3. Exchange Server 2000 Sp3.

I get these events about every 30 seconds (Event ID 7031):

The IIS Admin Service service terminated unexpectedly.
The Microsoft Exchange IMAP4 service terminated unexpectedly.
The Network New Transport Protocol (NNTP) service teminated unexpectedly.
The Microsoft Exchange Routing Engine service teminated unexpectedly.
The Simple Mail Transport (SMTP) service teminated unexpectedly.
The World Wide Web Publishing Service service teminated unexpectedly.

I have applied the Exchange Server Post Service Pack 3 Update Rollup and
KB890066 patch. This had no effect.

I tried updating to Windows 2000 Sp4, but the update failed.

Will I need to restore the server to a point before the errors started or is
there a fix for this problem?

    I am using Sophos anti-virus.

    Thanks,
    Steve.

    Many thanks for your reply.
Eventually I found the cause - a damaged queue in Exchange. Took offline
and created new folders for the queue.

    Steve.
