    Hello all,
I need to change the local administrator password on all of our XP Pro
Domain computers to the same password. Over time, they have been set
differently. We are on a windows 2000 domain. I havent been able to find out
    how to do this.

thanks in advanve for any help,

    Jason

  3. Several options. Here's two:

    1. Startup script that does this, e.g. net user administrator P@55w0rd~!
    2. Script that does this using the WinNT provider [1].

I thought you had posted your local admin password script sometime back, but
I can't find it in my "script toolbox". Could you repost it Paul?

  5. Yeah, I did post it before. I'll search for it (I've also posted it on a
forum somewhere too). If I can't find it, I'll go and find my USB pen, copy
it onto that, and then post it from this computer tomorrow.

Oh, the pain of secure systems...

....just as I did find it in my toolbox. ;-) For some reason I remembered it
    as "resetadminpasswords".

Also, found the sysinternals.com tool, "pspasswd" that has come up along the
same lines as cusrmgr but without requiring a W2K reskit license.
