Setting SSID

    Hello All,
    I'm developing a sample application,that scans for all wi-fi networks and
    sets the ssid the user has selected.
    This works fine on all laptops except for the Dell Latitude 610 model ,which
    is running the Intel BG2200 Wireless/PRO model.

    The DevieIOControl call always fails during the Set SSID operaion.
    The getLastError returns 20 (The system cannot find the device specified. )

    This is happening only with the Intel 2200BG Pro model.
    Could someone tell me where could I be going wrong?

    Do you get this error if you set or quiery any other WLAN OID or common OID?

    Hi,
    I do not get this error on any other occasion. I can query all the OID' and
    also perform SET operations successfully on other OID's.
    Its only the set of SSID that returns this error to me on the said NIC.
