show / do't show in option folder

    I have windows xp pro. and when i select show hidden files and folders ,it's
    automaticly return to do't show hidden files and folders,what can i do fix
    this problem?

    Start>Run>Regedit>OK

    Now navigate to the following registry location:-

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
    Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

    Find a key called CheckedValue.
    Double Click CheckedValue key and modify it to 1.This is to show
    all the hidden files.
