I've just tried an interforest migration from a Windows 2000 to a Windows
    2003 domain
Trusts, resolution and network are ok, and the migration appears to
    function.
At the end of migration, Users and Global groups are placed in the rights
target OUs, and the group memberships are correctly updated.
The ldp.exe tool, show for the migrated users the SID history of the old
    domain.
Unfortunately, by logging with the new credential, the users are unable to
access the resources of the old domain.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Fabio

    Hi Fabio,

    Thank you for posting!

I wonder if you have used Active Directory Migration Tools (ADMT) to
migrate the group and user accounts from your origional Windows 2000 domain
    to Windows 2003 domain.

For additional information about how to use ADMT, please visit the below
    article in Microsoft Knowledge base:

    I hope it helps.

    Hav anice day!
