    Hi,

Would there be any major issues involved with SBS 2003 if we only have one
NIC initially and later install a 2nd NIC with ISA later ?

    Thanks

  2. you hit the nail on the head, it's really a matter of ISA.

Should be no problem. If you intend eventually going to a 2NIC scenario I
wouldn't install ISA until then. I do hope you have a decent firewall
    appliance.

It would probably be easier to go from 2 NICs now w/ RRAS (no ISA) to 2 NICs
w/ ISA if it's the ISA bit that's worrying you.

IMHO you might as well add the 2nd NIC now if you can. Don't you want some
kind of firewall between your SBS and the outside world?

    Thanks.

We will be using a NETGEAR firewall. I was just wondering what kind of
Active Directory or DNS issues I might have.

  5. I agree. NICs are cheap and if you have ISA why not use it? ISA 2004 is
awesome and much easier to use.
