www.techarp.com causes a continuous "refresh." the links open in separate
windows, and each will continuously refresh. if enough are opened then ie7
    will crash.

i have spoken to my computer manufacturer, and posted this issue on other
forums, and everyone tells me that they have no problems (they did not
mention whether they are using ie7.) another site - which identity i can't
recall - caused an even greater refresh, so much so that the page never even
    loaded.

except for sites of this kind, ie7 treats me very well!

what is causing it? what can i do to stop it?

    thanks.

    Hi nw,
I am using IE7, XP pro.
Seems to be a site design feature. There are links on the site to external
content providers, Ad syndication, an rss feed.
You may try adding your site to the Trusted security Zone (if you trust the
site), to lower the security levels and enable cross-domain calls etc.
On my machine (with custom Internet Zone security settings) the refreshing
    is hardly noticable.

    Regards.
