Site link configuration question..

Discussion in 'Active Directory' started by Kent, Jul 4, 2008.

  1. the info you gave me should be OK....

the only thing I can think of is DNS SRV records

check in DNS what records have been registered for the CLIENT site

based on the info you gave it should be the DC in APAC that has registered
    this

    yes, you are right.
there are 2 SRV records at CLIENT site (HQ-CON-DC-03 & HQ-CON-DC-01).
removing the HQ-CON-DC-01 SRV record did the trick...

    thanks alot

sorry for not explaning it in more detail...
what i mean is in a Site Link, i have configured multiple sites (more than
10 sites) to be included inside the Site Link...can this work correctly?

i've search on the Internet, seems like the best practice is to keep a Site
Link to contain only 2 sites

    appreciate your advice on this..

  6. it is possible to do that, but it depends on the scenario and what/how you
    want to use it (for)
