I successfully created a slipstreamed XP SP1a CD using guides I found on the
web. However, they all stop there and don't include information on how to
slipstream post SP1a updates into a SP1a installation. Can anyone point me
in the right direction? I want to create a newer slipstreamed CD with all
the updates I have downloaded after installing SP1a.

    TIA

Yes, that's the one. Now if only I could understand what it all means :)

The thing is, i used a slipstreaming guide from
http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=248 for creating the SP1a CD, which
was pretty straightforward. MS isn't famous for plain english, so do you
know of any sites that describe the process in simpler terms? Thanks again
    for your help.

A better idea might be to ghost your hard drive/partition with
DriveImage. That's what I do. I can have my system back up and fully
configured with my default settings in half an hour.
