I have installed SBA 2006 on a SBS 2003 Premium server and followed the "How
to install and configure small business accounting 2006 on Windows small
business server 2003" exactly. When I try to open the company file on the
server, I receive a "User does not have the permissions required to log on
the the SBA system" error. I have tried every suggestion and work-around I
could find in this discussion group, as well as severl KB articles from
TechNet, but the problem persists. I'm in need of resolving this quickly as
my client is anxious to migrate to SBA. Any help or suggestions would be
    greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Cris,

No - the users are not set as local admins. I will try that.

I have tried giving one user account full control on the share, but it does
    not correct the problem.

I will post after I try setting-up the users as local admins.

    Thanks!

    Chris & all,

Yes - the user accounts on SBS are also shown as local admins on the
    workstation. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

    SUCESS!!

I selected the "replace permission entries on all child objects..." option
PLUS I found that the SBS User Group was not added to the folder permissions.
Between the two, it is now working just fine.

    Thanks!!!
