Right after I installed IE7, upon boot up I now always get a message:

"The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in
    the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL"

The title bar of the error dialogue box reads: "SmartBridge Alerts:
MotiveSB.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

MotiveSB is an application monitor used by SBC/AT&T. What would cause this
error and is there any way to correct it. I downloaded another PSAPI.DLL
from the internet but that did not correct the error.

Motive SmartBridge© is distributing an old version of PSAPI.DLL. As a
result, users might receive the following error message after installation
    of Internet Explorer 7:

"SmartBridge Alerts:MotiveSB.exe Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry
point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link
    library PSAPI.DLL"

    To work around this error:

    * Go to the installation location for SmartBridge (\Program
    Files\Verizon...\Smart...)

    * Find PSAPI.DLL and rename it to something like PSAPIOLD.DLL

    * Restart the computer The program will find the new PSAPI.DLL in the
    \Windows\System32 directory and function normally.

I renamed the old version and used the newer version (I think it was ver 5)
but still got the same error message. So I have disabled MotiveSB.exe,
renaming it to MotiveSB.tmp, and that eliminated the problem. I don't think
I ever use MotiveSB for trouble shooting anyways.

Your post has been more helpful than you know. I am not a computer whiz by
any means. But, (always a but) I ran Search for PSAPI.DLL so I could re-name
it as you suggested and it came up with 7 diffent places where the PSAPI.DLL
    is.
    PSAPI.DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32
    PSAPI.DLL C:\ProgramFiles\alltel dsl ch...
    PSAPI.DLL C:\windows\Servicepackfiles\j...
    PSAPI.DLL C:\Programfilea\adobe\acrobat
Some of the above are duplicate. Can you tell me which one to change??
    thanx
