Software assurance

  1. I am simply trying to find out, what is the difference between a Windows 2003
    O/S and one that says it includes the 'Software assurance pack"

    Anyone?, all comers are welcome

    Software assurance from what I understand means that if Microsoft brings out
    a replacement product then you could upgrade for free. Like SBS2000 =>
    SBS2003.

    SA is a Licencing scheme that provides u with products updates for free over
    a period of 3 years. & more importantly i belive that it also allows you to
    pay in installements
