    First, I would like to acknowledge the following staff whose various options
    allowed me to fix all the graphics, images, and error pages that I have been
    researching for over ONE MONTH: Jan Il and Don Varnau...thank you!!!

    Second, this is the first time I've ever posted to a forum. I will leave it
    up to the experts to clean-up or simplify the following steps I took to fix
    my problems (I hope pasting the instructions from Jan Il and Don V. is

    1. (JanI1): 'Action Canceled' error message is considered a 'friendly http'
    error message in IE. Go to Tools>Internet Options> Advanced tab and uncheck
    "Show friendly HTTP error messages".

    2. (Jan I1): Script Debugging Problem: Open IE
    Tools | Internet Options |Advanced
    Under Browings:
    Disable Script Debugging - Check it
    Display a notification about every script error - Uncheck it

    (Vicki: Before closing Internet Options, on the General Tab (first page), I
    deleted Cookies, Files (check the box for Offline Files), and Cleared

    3. (JanI1): HOSTS: If you're running a windows 2000 or xp machine, look
    for a file called "HOSTS" (no extension) and delete this file (or rename it
    HOSTSbak - if you don't feel confortable deleting it).
    (Vicki's NOTE: I ran SEARCH (start button)for files/folders - enter HOSTS ;
    left "containing text" blank;

    "look in" - select Local Disk (C:)....(NOT Local Harddrives (C:)); search
    now. Found three files...deleted HOSTS (with no extension).

    4. (Don Varnau): click link: .
    Script Debug Error page...(most of which was created/designed by Don Varnau
    and Mike Burgess).

    Third paragraph should read:
    1. You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

    Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

    I have Windows 2000 and clicked the link for Windows Script 5.6 (Even though
    I had downloaded it several weeks ago...) Once installed, I clicked "yes" to
    restart computer.

    My computer rebooted; I signed onto MSN with the expectation of seeing my
    usual Red X's in white squares and Action Canceled that have appeared for the
    past 5-6 weeks. I never thought that I would be so ecstatic to see all the
    advertising and pop-up banners just a'popping up all over the place. Think
    I'll leave my pop-up guard off for awhile to enjoy the view!!

    Thank you, Jan Il and Don saved me from going completely bald
    from pulling out what little bit of hair I had left. I sure hope that these
    steps help others.
