I have 1 domain and 2 DC's in the domain both have DNS running. I am running
windows 2003 servers with windows xp clients. I had 1 DC go down last week
and I had some users that could not logon and had others that had no problem
logging in. Both DC's are replicating and no errors in event logs. Ran dcdiag
and netdiag with no problems. Do this mean I have a DNS problem?

    Thanks in advance,

  2. Hello Robert,

Are both DCs Global catalog server and are the clients configured to use
also the other DNS server as secondary on the NIC?

    Best regards

Yes they are both GC's and yes the other server is configured as a secondary
DNS server when you do a ipconfig/all on any of the clients. Robert
