Sonic Stage Installation

  1. Hey! I just downloaded Sonic Stage 4.3 from the net but when I try to start
it, it gives the following message
Product: OpenMG Secure Module -- 1: The InstallScript engine on this machine
is older than the version required to run this setup. If available, please
install the latest version of ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel
    for further assistance.
I have no idea what this means. I tried this same question on another group
but nobody there had any idea. Any help would be appreciated.

The ONLY version of Sonic Stage (May Its Authors Fry In Hell Forever (TM))
that I've been able to get to work reliably on my WinXP system is Everything else causes the system to hang up/crash. Software
that can make WinXP crash is seriously broken.

  3. I guess I must be lucky as I have Sonic Stage 4.3 running on WINXP Pro

  4. Thanks to all of you. Its nice to know that I'm not the only one who is
    tearing out hair over this.
The odd thing is that when I installed it from the Sony cd it worked fine.
Then one day it started to give this error. I uninstalled it and then
downloaded it from the net. But its still giving the same message.
Don't know whats wrong with it.
