I have received the MS CDs (3) for SBS 2003 SP1 Premium. I have successfully
completed all the installs until I get to ISA 2004 install on CD3.

Catch22 type of error immediately after launching the ISA 2004 install.

Error: "The wizard cannot install ISA Server 2004 because the server is
not running the correct operating system. The correct this problem, install
Windows Small Business Server 2003 with Service Pack 1, and hten restart this
    wizard."

Here is a copy of the contents of the sbsisa2k4setuplog.txt file:

    6/14/2005 2:30 PM
    D:\ISASETUP\SBSISA2K4SETUP.EXE, version 5.2.2893.0
    SBSISA2K4SETUP: CoInitialize returned OK
SBSISA2K4SETUP: Initializing the module returned OK
SBSISA2K4SETUP: SBS 2003 with service pack (1 or later) was not detected.
SBSISA2K4SETUP: SBS 2003 SP1 is required to run this program
    SBSISA2K4SETUP: Exiting

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thx

  2. So, you are saying that you did install SP1 completely and successfully, to
    the best of your knowledge?

  3. whoops, the SEND key got clicked too quickly.

Be sure to go to the M&M site at www.smallbizserver.net, register (for free)
and then review the "how to install SBS SP1" documentation, to confirm that
    you did install SP1 correctly.
