sp2 firewall compatible with norton internet security firewall ?

    I am preparing to install sp2 on xp that is protected by norton internet
    security program with norton fire wall. do i disable sp2 firewall or will the
    two firewalls work together

    DO NOT run two firewalls. Before installing SP2 turn off Norton, your web
    connection, and any peripherals. Install SP2, turn off the Microsoft
    firewall, turn on the stuff you turned off and things should be operating
    ok.

    Disable the XP Firewall because you already have the Norton Firewall since
    Norton's is the better of the two. Two Firewall's running together are
    redundant and present an oppurtunity for conflict.
