Splitting store files

Had some corruption in a store file that required eseutil /p to be run
    earlier this week.

It fixed the problems and the file can now be mounted - what was more
concerning was the 8 hours it took to run on the 22GB priv.edb. After a bit
of googling it seems by splitting the store file I can reduce the file
size - always good and as a bonus, problems with one of the files wouldn't
stop the entire organisation from sending / receiving email.

I can't find any info however on the possibilities / setup on SBS 2003.

    Has anyone been here already?

    TIA

Well that clears that up !

I dont think it was the AV - just one of those things. Its only the second
time in 5 years, on a box thats very much used and abused. Seems to be
    behaving itself now.

    Ta.
