Hi. Not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum or not, but here goes. I recently installed Office 2000 on my XP-Pro PC. Since then, it seems to spontaneously reboot at random intervals when I'm using Word. I uninstalled Office 2000 and went back to 97 which has never given me any problems, but it just did it again. Does anyone know what might have caused this and if I can change whatever it is? Also, I created a restore point before I installed the new Office programs, but what I want to know is that if I roll back to that point in the hope the rebooting stops, do I lose all the files and stuff I've saved since that point, or does it just roll back the programs and system settings?
