Dear all, I have VB startup and logon scripts defined in a GPO. When a mobile
computer is booted offline, apart from getting the event log entries
described in article 840669 (events 1054 and 1000), the PCs apparently hang
fpr several minutes until the GPO times out. Since the PCs first start with a
network connection (to the internet, but not to a DC), and a channel to the
DC will not be available until th euser has logged on and started his VPN
client, simply increasing the GPO timeout value will probably nothelp - what
I am looking into is to shorten the GPO timeout or to disable the scripts
altogether if no DC is available.
Am I on the right track?
