Still Having WMDC Connection Issues?

  1. This may not help a lot of you but only some.

I finally got my system to synch with WMDC 6.0. In a nutshell, after trying
lots of items suggested by others, I simply deleted my Windows Mobile Device
    from my Hardware Device Settings.

I had unistalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled...(you get the
picture) several times. I would have figured this would have removed an
incorrect version of the drivers on an upgraded machine. But no!

So with my device connected via USB cable, USBSwitch to RDNIS, I deleted the
driver. Unplugged my device. Counted to a comfortable 10 seconds, then
replugged it in. This time everything worked like a charm. The device
reinstalled the correct drivers and WMDC was ready to start synching.

    I hope this helps someone.

    Best Wishes,

Thanks Keith! I was in the same boat. Followed the steps you outlinesd and it now works perfectly.
