    Hi,

I have a Storage Server 2003 with Servicepack 2 which is behaving very
    strange.
It runs DFSR and DFSN with a partner server in another location.
Since about 2 weeks the server stopps responding for few minutes a day and
the DFSN Namespace changes the Shares to the other location.
This could happen one time a day (or not even one time), but also 3-4 times
    a day.
I already examined the eventlogs, but I could not find corresponding error
messages or warnings appearing the time when the server stopps responding.
I also started some performance counter logs.
The result was that the cpu is always bored at 4-5 percent even if the
server is not responding and the network card is only at max. 1 to 3% load.
The only thing I saw were that pages/s is at 100% at the moment the server
stopps responding and the avg. disk queue read is at 100%, too at this
    moments.
But this also happens when the server behaves normal.

Has anyone an idea? memory failure, disk fault?....

    Regards
    Thomas
