I have used WLM for now several months and it has worked fine but suddently,
about 3 days ago when I try to read the mails received after may 17th I get:

Windows Live Mail could not download the requested message. To send and
receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on
the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer Support,
go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the list of
    services.

    Subject 'Account verification'
    Server Error: 0x8000FFFF
    Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8000FFFF

I know that several peoples already had this error but the point is that I
can ALWAYS read on WLM the mails received PRIOR may 17th.
Also I can always read the mail I sent; even sent after the 17th but only if
they were sent with WLM. Mail sent via my hotmail account after the 17th got
    the erro message.

As far as I can tell, their was no change on my computer and I can always
access my hotmail account on the internet, and I can read the mails that get
    the error message.

I use Win XP with 2.8 GHz and 1.65 Mo Ram

    If anyone got a idea?

    Thx
