Syncing Song ratings from Portable Device

I have been trying to get the ratings for songs synced through WMP Mobile 10
(Windows Mobile 5) and WMP11 to work, but am not able to get the ratings
transferred. How is this supposed to work and how do you successfully set it
up?

I have all my CD’s ripped that consume about 20 gigs. I am transferring the
songs that I have to a 1 gig card. What I want to be able to do is shuffle
the library to my PPC and Rate the songs as they are played syncing the
rating back to my master library. The idea being that I would shuffle out
the rated songs on my PPC and shuffle in unrated songs, ultimately ending up
with a master (auto?) playlist that is all 5 star rated.

Problem is that it will shuffle items in and out but the ratings do not come
with it. If there is a better player/sync system out there I would like to
hear about it.

 

Is there anyone from MS with any thoughts on this? I have seen several
threads on here with no good solution. I just want to be able to use the
RATING FEATURE on my mobile device, and have that synced back. IF this is
supposed to work then I have been doing it wrong cause I cannot get it to
work. Please give me the instuctions on how to set up Media player and what
I need to do to correctly sync it up.
