    Does anyone know or a place where I can get information regarding sif files.
    I have realized that sif files perform like a setup type of execution and
    sets of commands.

    In my particular case I am trying to decipher the asr.sif that gets created
    when you run ntbackup wizard to create an ASR backup. I figured that this
    last line in asr.sif contains information on backup media, media label and
    path to actual backup among others - that is my problem.

    Here is the line - if anyone has any thoughts please let me know. You might
    be wondering why am going through all this trouble. Well I want to create
    an ASR startegy that allows me to reuse the same asr floppy disk but the
    problem is that this last line on the asr.sif file somehow knows what backup
    to look for -

    [NTBACKUP.RECOVERYMEDIA]
    1=1,1,2,824813976,16342,2881830,,,"Backup.bkf created 9/9/2004 at 9:12
    PM","D:\ASR\Backup.bkf"

    This is what I want to figure out.- that set of number always changes per
    backup I guess
