Is there a way to configure Terminal Services (for administration) so that
when I close the TS window, it closes the session rather than making it
inactive? I know I can do the "Start --> Logoff" from within the TS session
to close it down completely, but is there way to configure it so that it
does this when I click the X in the corner?

  2. One optional solution (if you can't find anything better) would be to set on
the terminal server to "End disconnected session" after e.g. 1 minute.
To configure this go open Terminal Services Configuration on terminal server
and click on Connections in left pane. Now right click RDP-Tcp and select
    Properties.

If you need to do this on multiple server, you could configure this using
    group policy.

    I hope this helps,
