    Hi:

I am not able to connect to a Windows 2003 server using
Terminal Services, although I am able to do so using
softwares like Dameware. This was working earlier and it
suddenly stopped working, but now it gives error "The
remote connection has timed out". What could be the reason
as nothing specific in updated in the logs. The terminal
services is running on the server and there is no port
blocking or firewall issues. Your kind advices would be
    highly appreciated.

    Best Regards

  2. Hi, did you have Terminal Services Licensing Server Activated, if you don
try to use Remote Desktop instead of Terminal Services.

    Hi:

    Thanks for your response.

Actually this is Windows 2003 valuepack which comes
alongwith a built-in license for 2. No need to install
    terminal licensing server.

    Best Regards
