Test printer drivers on a fake physical printer

Discussion in 'Windows Vista Drivers' started by rowan.hanna.bt, Oct 30, 2006.

  1. I'm looking for a way to test various printer drivers (e.g. HP
Universal Printing PCL 5) from various companies without actually
having the physical printer attached to my machine. So I can see if the
printer driver can handle the document that I'm printing and how long
it would take to print, without actually printing to a physical
    printer.

    Any ideas?

  2. Choose FILE as output port for the printer. It will ask you for the file
    name whenever you print.

    Have a nice day
