The concept of "Domain"

    When I register a domain I register say, xxx.com
after that I can add as many "A" records as I see fit, such as

    123.xxx.com
    abc.xxx.com

    etc.

In IE when scripting across frames/iframes, you get an Access Denied Or
Permission Denied error when attempting to script frames whose src attirbute
is set to a page from (in my opinion) the same domain, because IE see it as a
    different domain.

I don't think this is the correct behaviour. Is this as designed or a bug?
If as designed, can we push for a change of this design?
If a bug, will it be fixed?

Seeing that this easy to "hack" around, I don't see the validity of the
"security measure" for the cases I cited above.
