The DLL "cpuinf32.dll" cannot be loaded. The specified module could not be foun

  1. This messsage pops up whenever I try to play a mpeg file
    in the medi player. The media player then shuts off. It
    also occurs when I try to play a mpeg with winamp, but it
    does not happen when I use RealOne player. After this
    first message pops up, another follows that goes:
    Dll "implapx.dll" cannot be loaded. Specified module
    could not be found. Any help would be greatly

    I was having pretty much the same problem after Media
    Player downloaded a CODEC. To fix the problem I went to and downloaded the DLL in
    question. After you download the needed DLL, copy the DLL
    file to your system folder (C:\windows\system) and the
    problem seems to go away. It did for me anyway.
