  1. I have Windows server 2003 SP2 runs as a primary DNS server, i got an error
for the memory shortage day and day so the DNS service stopped and i had to
restart the service, i logged the error from server DNS event viewer as

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: DNS
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 7502
    User: N/A
The DNS server was unable to service a client request due a shortage of
available memory. Close any applications not in use or reboot the computer
    to free memory.

Is the server very busy to respond DNS requests? Or the DNS requests are
nothing especial but you still see large amont of ram eing used?

I hope that the information above helps you.
    Have a Nice day.
