Help! Getting this error in DNS servers and nobody can log in. I have
rebuilt the forward zones from scratch and the error is still there.

"The DNS server was unable to create a resource record for
    c830e4e9-ee4d-49f6-9a11-e4078c48f077._msdcs.domain.com. in zone
domain.com. The Active Directory definition of this resource record is
corrupt or contains an invalid DNS name. The event data contains the
    error."

    Jim Guest

Here is the error message and diagnostic output. I deleted both forward
zones from the servers again last night, then rebuilt them on this DC
(dc1) and they replicated to my other two DC/DNS servers. DNS seems to
be functioning but if I restart DNS on the DC I get this event logged.

The DNS server was unable to create a resource record for
    c830e4e9-ee4d-49f6-9a11-e4078c48f077._msdcs.domain.com. in zone
domain.com. The Active Directory definition of this resource record is
corrupt or contains an invalid DNS name. The event data contains the
    error.

  5. Read inline please.

    In
    You Deleted both Forward zones?
Assuming you are talking about on for domain.com and _msdcs.domain.com, did
you recreate the _msdcs delegation (with the NS records for all DCs) in the
    domain.com zone?

Move the netlogon.dns and netlogon.dnb files out of the
%systemroot%\system32\config and restart the netlogon service then run
netdiag /fix and dcdiag /test:dns /v and post the DNS test portion of the
    results.
