"There are no online stores available for your location"

    I've installed Windows Media Player 10 at work and for my
    friends with no problem, but on my home PC I get the
    following message when I try to use the online stores
    feature: "There are no online stores available for your

    This seems wrong since it works for everyone else, and
    we're all at the same location. How do I correct this?

    id say it very much depends on your regional settings. for instance my
    settings are australia, and since music stores in wmp10 are located in
    america, i wont get them. so perhaps your friends are on a different
    regional setting than you, to get it i assume youd need to be region america

  3. You'll need English(US) user locale settings to see the stores and a credit
    card with US billing address to use them.
