i tried playing some of my music, and there is no sound,i even turned it up on
full blast but still nothing,i was connecting to the internet to see what was
wrong and i could hear the connection tone,so it is NOT that i am dumb.the
worst part was that there was no error message. what should i do?

First, turn your speakers down to normal.

Now they're down, look next to the volume slider in WMP.
Do you see that small, round button next to it ?

Click it once more. It's the mute button.

    Cheers - Neil
