I'm having a problem receiving files from a friend. I can
receive files from everyone else and I can send him files
but every time he tries to send me a file this is the
    message that I receive ...

tried to send you a file (devil-1280-1024.jpg). This file
has been blocked because it is potentially unsafe.

We never used to have this problem and it's only been
since we both updated to the new MSN. Any clues as to
what may be going on? It's truly weird and any or all
    help is GREATLY appreciated. :)

Thx's for your time and have a great wknd!! ;)

Which new MSN? Look at Help. If it's 7.0.777, read this:

  3. Greetings,

This is a new "security" feature in MSN Messenger 7. Assuming you're using Windows XP SP2,
you can restore the functionality by downloading and running the following .reg file:
    http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/extfix.reg
You'll need to restart Messenger to see the change.
