Time to ditch ICQ, but...

  1. Hello everyone,

since I first started using "MSN Messenger", things have got better and
better. I really enjoy the most recent version (6.1). In fact, I like it so
much I think the time has come to ditch my first instant messenger program
("ICQ"). Now, I have a small problem (and I bet I share this problem with a
lot of you guys). Many of the ICQ-contacts I have don't use MSN yet. As I
don't see it as my task to convince them do stop using ICQ just because I
ask them to, I'm hoping there's another way to resolve this.

Here's what I'd like to know: are there any "ICQ-plugins" for Messenger that
will allow me to send and receive messages from the ICQ network via MSN
Messenger? (no, I'm not interested in programs such as JabberWocky and
Trilian - mainly because I like MSN Messenger and its
    video/audio/application sharing features)

    Kind regards,
    Peter Eriksson - Sweden/EU

  2. Greetings Peter,

No, I haven't seen anything like this that would connect Messenger up to ICQ contacts, you'll
have to use a separate client (like one of the ones you mentioned) in order to stay on with
    ICQ.
