Transfering video with WMP 10 to PMC

I have a new iRiver PMC-120. I have been trying to transfer video files
stored on my XP MCE 2005 computer using Media Player 10. These files are
either TiVoToGo recordings I have transferred from my TiVo DVR or TV
recordings I have made on this computer using the Media Center capabilities.
Both formats play just fine in Media Player, but when I try to SYNC with the
PMC, neither will transfer to the device. The error that Media Player gives
is always the same "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is
on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you
typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server
might not be available." This doesn't make sense to me because the files are
on the same computer that the Media Player is being run on. I can transfer
music files all day long, but the video files won't go. Any help would be
    very much appreciated. Thanks!!

A: Is there updated firmware for the device?
B: If that doesn't help, does DVRTOWMV from http://pressthegreenbutton.com
    help?

There is not a firmware update from iRiver for the PMC-120. The website you
list links to an under construction site from Network Solutions.

Ah yes, I confused the slogan with the web site--
    http://www.thegreenbutton.com/downloads.aspx
    is what you actually want.

I'll try that for the DVR-MS files. Any thoughts on the TiVo files?

You should check with the Media Center community people then - they've got a
bunch more knowledge in this arena than I have. =)
