trying to establish a trust relationship accross a WAN link. I've attempted
so far with entering in dns entries, so both servers
can ping each other by name. i've also setup wins and put in static entries.
both sites can ping by domain name of each other and server name.

What else do i need to setup so both domain controllers can see each other
    in Microsoft Windows Networks?

both domain controllers are win2k server.

  2. you not only need to make the machines can see each other...

both machines must be able to find domain controller on the other side.

when using NetBIOS that means domain controllers on one side must be able to
see the 1Ch record on the other side

when using DNS that means domain controllers on one side must be able
resolve service records of the other side (through forwarders or through
    secondary zones)

I believe that you're talking about Network Places right?

Network places relies on NetBIOS resolution which means that you'll need to
have a Wins Server in each
    Domain replicating with eachother.

    I hop that helps
