I have two Windows 2003 DC of their own domain:

    company1.local (resources domain)
    company2.local (users domain)

I need to setup a trust relationship between the two domains:

    company1.local trusts company2.local

I know I have to use the Active Directory Domain & Trusts snap in but I
don't know how to fill the wizard. In which domain controller do I have to
    start the relationship ?
Do the DCs need to see each others in DNS resolution ?

    Thanks

    Sergio

  2. [1] Are these two domains contained within the same forest? If so, then
they should have a two-way, transitive trust relationship set up
    automatically.

[2] DNS is key. If the DCs in the respective domains cannot reach one
another via DNS, then they will not be able to establish the trust
    relationship.

[3] To actually create the trust:
