Get General access denied error. I AM an domain admin - tried installing on
a DC with another domain admin account. My domain is a child domain - does
this add-in apply to the whole AD structure, or just to the child domain I
    try to run it on?

No, I am only the admin for my child domain - so, this adds this
functionality to the entire domain, from the top down?

  3. If you're referring to the remote control "feature", you will need to be an
EA or have the necessary delegated permissions on the config NC, as this
operation modifies the display specifiers, which reside in the configuration
NC - which you don't have access to, by default, as an administrator in a
    child domain.

Sorry, Paul - what do you mean by NC, and what permissions do I need?

  5. NC = Naming Context. Otherwise known as a partition. e.g. domain NC,
    configuration NC, schema NC.

I don't have what permissions you require at hand. I would need to fire up
ADSIEDIT.MSC and poke around with the display specifiers. What I'm trying
to say is that you can either do this with EA or, if setup, a delegated
    user.
