I work back and forth from my desktop to laptop and use
the my 3955 ipac to sync to both. I continuously get
duplicates which create a lot of extra work for me. I
read on your site that I could make a pst file and copy
the calendar, contacts and task folders, but I when I
look in Tools in the menu line and look for Services
(this option does not exist for me) I am working with XP,
outlook 2002 AND ACTIVESYNC 3.6. Is there some easy way
to move this information back and forth easier and then
sync my ipac? Thanks for your assistance. John

    Hi John,

The problem of duplication tends to occur sometimes when you use the Combine
option. To clear such entries, download and use the free
Outlook Duplicate Remover utility, written by Fr. Simon Rundell ---

    http://www.slipstick.com/files/ODR5.EXE

And which is the site you are referring to for the steps on creating a new
    pst file?

  3. Creating the pst is under File, Import and Export, Export to a File,
Personal Folder File (.pst). Sucking the data into another copy of Outlook
    is an Import.

I'd go with Raj's suggestion first though. I routinely sync a couple of PPCs
with laptop and desktop and Desktops at home and at work. I'm rarely plagued
with any duplicates. I think if you get them straightened out once, you'll
    be OK.
