My company only has one domain with a couple of regional offices. One of the
offices has a server in it that is a DC with Exchange. I want to put another
DC there side by side because I need to upgrade the current one to the new
one. Who can give me a how to on setting up the new DC. I ran the DC promo
and have AC replicated, is there any changes that I have to make to AC sites
and services when it comes to setting up a connector or what. Let me know if
there is anything that I missed or what the best practice, or your own
specific method of doing it. Thank You.

  2. If this is in the same site you don't need to do anything with the sites and
services. You certainly don't need to manually create connection objects.

You should setup this DC as a GC and AD-Integrated DNS Peer though.

Have a look at this for a bit of help on what you are trying to do:

Just as a footnote I don't believe MS will support Exchange on a DC if other
    servers exists in your AD.

  4. Hi Paul!

Are you sure it's not supported? I thought it was just not the most
    recommended of scenarios...

Although that goes out the window for branch office deployments ;-)
