I am wondering if MCE supports 'extended desktop' i.e one runing MCE while
the other just normal apps. I realise that MCE will loose focus and remote
control won't function if I use my mouse for other thing but does it support
two monitor. I've been having difficulty getting my radeon9200se to work. any
    suggestion?

  2. I've heard that it does, with one caveat. The Media Center needs to run on
the primary display, apparently because of a limitation in DirectX. Other
    than that, it's possible.

For what it's worth, I've also found a way with my nVidia board to get the
video to run fullscreen on the TV while the normal Windows desktop runs on
the monitor. Sadly, in this mode, the remote control seems to be ignored by
    the system.

  3. Dual-headed support has always been a sore spot for MCE. Generally, you
can drag the MCE window over to your second display and it will work
    (might have a performace hit).

  4. You can drag it, but will it _stick_? Or do you have to drag it again the
next time you want to watch tv?
