Unable to access computer remotely via WMI or Computer Management

    I'm a member of the administrators group. I can access everything locally fine.

    Any ideas?

  2. Verify that there isn't a physical or software-based firewall between you
    and the remote computer. Computer Management requires the NetBIOS ports for
    remote access - if you are using the Windows Firewall and are in an Active
    Directory environment you can control this via Group Policy by enabling the
    "Allow remote administration" exception.

    You should also perform basic network connectivity tests - can you ping the
    remote computer by its IP address? By its DNS name?
