Unable to access hosted public web site on intranet

Discussion in 'Windows Small Business Server' started by Waseem Shahzad, May 5, 2004.

  1. My ISP have made entry for my domain in Name Server so
that my web site is accessible out side the world.
And our web site is accessible on internet but users in
our LAN when try to open this url, they cannot view this
    particuler web site.

Other web sites on internet is working just fine and
    every site is accessable.

Only site which is hosted on my SBS server is not
accissble on LAN, either with the IP address or by domain
name. What is possible cause of this issue?

Each client on my domain have right settings for DNS and
the company web site is also viewable on LAN.

What is your web domain name, and what is your internal DNS domain name?

Also what type of DNS is the other DNS Server running?

You may want to forward DNS queries to it from your SBS box, and then have it forward to your ISP.
